You are struggling to find your place in the world.

You grew up knowing that something was different about you, but couldn’t quite put your finger on it.

You were a creative, sensitive, and intuitive girl who excelled in writing, the arts, and extracurriculars.  From the outside, no one knew that you were secretly struggling to find your place in the world.

This feeling of ‘different’ still lingers.  It sneaks into your relationships, your career, and how you see yourself. As an adult, you appear to have it all.  Job, degree, spouse, and close girlfriends.

You love your job, yet it’s super stressful.  If feels like your hard work goes unnoticed.  You need to figure out how to stay in this job without burning out.  Even just taking a lunch break would be a start.

You give more than you take in your relationships. Friends, family, and significant others know they can rely on you. Yet setting boundaries is a real struggle because you don’t want to hurt or disappoint others.

You know you have the ability to have solid and fulfilling relationships, yet you feel lonely and misunderstood.

You wake up in the morning and put on a mask.  No one knows how fragile you feel on the inside.

By all accounts, you “should” feel happy.  So why is every day so hard?

Your deepest fear is that you made a mistake with your career or relationship. You worry that it’s too late to make a shift. Or that others will judge you for finally putting your own needs first.

It’s not too late to make a change.

Imagine a world where you felt understood and appreciated. You are surrounded by people that bring out the best in you and you are fulfilled by your career.

You are empathetic and present to others, while also being present for yourself.  You no longer feel selfish for taking care of yourself and doing the things you love.

You are happy with your schedule and have a balance of work, relationships, and fun.

Your life is drama-free. You have time to go to the gym or yoga and see friends for dinner. You can choose whether to eat lunch with coworkers or eat by yourself without fear of judgment.

You are confident and free. You truly like and enjoy yourself and what you offer to the world.

I’m committed to helping you embrace all parts of you, including the parts of you that had to stay hidden while growing up.

Maybe you’re skeptical about seeing a therapist. Talk therapy hasn’t worked for you in the past.

Here’s how I’m different.

Because you’re creative and intuitive, we need to use special tools to help you heal.

I use creative methods, such as sandtray therapy, art, and EMDR to engage parts of your brain that generally aren’t used in talk therapy.

Play, laughter, and humor are regular occurrences during therapy sessions with me (in addition to chocolate and mints)!

I offer structure and safety so that your imagination can have a voice. We will use creativity to explore parts of you that have been ignored or pushed down.

Let’s find the right environment for you – starting with the therapy room!

Take your time to explore my site to learn more about me and my services.

Please contact me to schedule a complimentary 15-minute phone call to determine if would be the right match.

I can’t wait to be a part of your journey!
